Recastled CEO Kosha Gada says if a country like Australia is facing the issue of energy shortfalls, it’s “wholly self-inflicted”.

“This is one of the most resource-rich countries in the world, we happily export coal and nuclear to other countries that use it,” Ms Gada told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“Meanwhile, we’re dismantling our coal infrastructure for backup energy and refusing to pursue nuclear.”

We have enough sun and wind in this country to supply clean energy to us and half the world. It is way past the time to be pursuing this in earnest and be prepared for a little hardship along the way to save this planet.
