Hence, in terms of charging infrastructure, Norazman said the government aims to provide at least 10,000 units of public charging facilities by 2025. “We want to invite any particular investor to invest in charging stations to be part of the development of the EV ecosystem,” he added.

I wonder how much is one affordable EV? 🤔 Rm 50k a pop? To encourage more ownership of EV cars, the car prices need to be made affordable by abolishing excise and reduced import duties. With higher demand (on affordable pricing) the demand will increase, vis-a-vis increase in importation of EV cars.
