A former Tesla executive is creating an electric luxury boat with a range of up to 150 nautical miles.

The CEO of the Florida-based boat company, Blue Innovations Group, is John Vo, who grew up in the Twin Cities and graduated from the University of Minnesota.Blue Innovations is taking reservations for the boat and expects to begin deliveries in the second quarter of 2024.

Couple years ago a guy, SW Ontario, converted his catamaran to electric w scrap tesla bat pack. Put a canopy of 2 sided solar panels on it. Charges from direct and reflected sun off the water. Average Joe uses boats on sunny or calm days. Easy to do.
