Hello he's an introvert. I'd look like that too but I'd still be enjoying myself. Then I'd go home and sleep for a week to recover. Crowds are draining.

Maybe he was wishing he was at a bar or playing poker.

He’s in recovery, maybe these types of events are hard for him.

I didn’t see the show but have seen clips of the “best” parts of it and I can see how a mature adult would have been bored to tears at that nonsense.
