While I couldn’t test the self-driving features, I did get to test some of the other tech. One new feature on the G9 is what XPeng callsmultimedia experience. First off, the Dolby Atmos–enabled sound system has 28 speakers buried around the vehicle, including in the front seats. These work together with the air vents and the fragrance dispenser in the center compartment to give a sensory experience.
Voice control works from any seat and can even deal with commands from different seats simultaneously—unlike the system in Tesla, which, in my experience, does a very good job of transcribing speech but not such a good job of taking any action. The XPeng system, at least in Mandarin, does things.

If the world is still opening, not as some developed countries, the Chinese brand EV will kill old automakers. Just search the Internet, the Chinese electric car is getting better and unstoppable.
lithium batteries do NOT take kindly to ultra rapid charging, yes they take it, but you shorten their life considerably, do this every day, an you'll be replacing $7-10K worth of batteries every 3 or 4 years instead of ~10.
