Harry Besley wants to raise awareness of how electric engines can reduce pollution.

Harry will be 17 when he attempts the record.

The route will start west along the south coast, north past Wales, stop at the Isle of Man and across to Northern Ireland, through the Caledonian Canal then south down the east of Scotland and England and back to the south coast."I'm now confident that by the summer we will have the boat and charging facilities for this challenge to be a reality," Harry said.

He has his power boating level 2, sea survival, VHF, and lifeguarding certificates and plans to get his intermediate and advance powerboating by the challenge this summer."If we are successful, then this project could change the future for the leisure marine industry forever."

Electric boat needs long extension to plug in to charge it using nasty polluting fuel to create the electricity. Let’s not forget the pollution created to make the electric boat and then the waste and pollution at the end of its usefulness.

Like most batteries he won't have maximum power until the battery runs flat. Once the charge drops below 50% he'll notice the lack of speed. With 1/2 a tank of petrol you can still have maximum speed. How many HOURS are those 40 charging stops going to take🤦

But. Is he Vegan?

Yawn....

Except he will have to charge the batteries with power made by fossil fuels so defeating the main object..

Great Lord God will do miracles tomorrow in the sky. Be afraid of God.

Wowwww. You should see the solar yachts. Theyre cooler. Check out silent yachts. I particularly want a silent 80 catamaran. Lol
