Magaji said doing this would make the children grow up to learn and appreciate the values of keeping the environment safe and clean, thereby protecting the country and environment, adding that one of the ways of doing it is tree planting.
He said, “So, this is very significant and we must recognise the importance of the environment and also try to preserve it and we must inculcate the culture of environmental preservation in children. This is for them to grow up to learn and appreciate those values of keeping the environment safe and clean.”
Chief Executive Officer, Sterling One Foundation, Olapeju Ibekwe, encouraged the students to nurture the trees planted to fight climate change. All rights reserved.
