We've just been through the maunder minimum and would have expected temperatures to rise. Now at the zenith, we can see from the latest IPCC report that the temperature hasn't risen for 15years and given the insanely well evidenced solar cycle, we can expect it to cool for 35yrs

Projections are not facts. The climate has always changed and will always change; just adapt if it becomes necessary, which it probably won't.
So if they knew, why didn't they diversify into the technology they knew would be better? Solar. Wind. Ocean wave. They could have partnered with utilities to bring the new technology in. They could have been responsible for electric cars like they were for interstates & cars.

True scientists know we are in the warming stage of an ice age, and the Earth is going back to 21.2 degree tilt from a 24.1 degree tilt that will definitely cause warming of the poles. Also, anyone who says CO2 is getting into our atmosphere is a joke that gas is heavier than air
