Mercedes-Benz will axe its ‘EQ’ brand for its next-generation electric cars, due in late 2024, a report has suggested.

The 'EQ' name is presently used on mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid models.

Are Mercedes even trying ? They sold just 117K BEV’s in 2022 🤦‍♂️

A shame no one wants to buy them! Undertaking a road-trip in a non Tesla is a huge “pain in the ass”. Tesla have nailed this.

The least they could do is make them look less lumpy and dull...

I’m guessing they’re channeling their focus on subscription based services for items such as breaking, air bags etc. I know with my new car order there’s a one off fee to turn on already built in safety systems.
