Customers purchasing stamps in bulk can avail of a discount.

THE PRICE OF the basic national stamp, which is currently €1.25, will increase to €1.35 on 1 February.

“The average price of a comparable national stamp across the principal EU14 countries is now €1.69.” In addition, An Post will continue to run its popular extra discount promotions for Love Stamps and other special stamps throughout the year.“We have made every effort to minimise the necessary price increases by spreading them across our products and services while working to ensure top quality, sustainable services for all customers, regardless of where they live.”

Inflation my arse. They have made 3 price rises in the last 12mths. They are killing the postal service and small businesses because of profit NOT inflation. Inflation is being used as an excuse and thrown around as a reason why we should be expected to pay more for a product.

Every few months they’re putting up the price

I was trying to write and send more letters but these constant price hikes has put me off using An Post. All those electric post vans not paying off? 🤔

what does 'bulk' mean...more than one?

An Post is an abusive monopoly. What other companies in Ireland can increase the price of their product as much as An Post has over the last five years and still stay in business?

What ‽? It just went up recently !!! €1.25 for a stamp for Ireland atm !
