Abbott has called for state agencies to look into Atmos Energy's failed response to the critical weather event during the holidays in not offering timely service to customers when a gas outage occurred in central and north Texas.

Abbott has called for Paxton and Craddick to look into Atmos’ failed response to the critical weather event in not offering timely service to Texans.

RRC stated Atmos blamed low pressure for the outage on Friday, Dec. 23. They demanded the company to swiftly remedy the issue, Atmos calling in some additional help from technicians to call center staff. By Christmas Eve afternoon Atmos reported the pressure to be back to normal.
