With a median age of 30.3 years, a significant portion of the Malaysian population consists of millennials, and this demographic is most likely to be home seekers that could shape the market over the next five years.As interest rates are expected to rise further affecting the housing affordability issue, this segment of the population would need to rely on government assistance to transition into home ownership.
