Specs-wise, the C40 offers an electric AWD powertrain which consists of two 300 kW motors that are capable of producing 402 hp and 660 Nm of torque. Volvo claims that newer model can achieve a top speed limited to 180 km/h and hit 0 – 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds, making it slightly quicker than the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric.

For the Malaysian market, the all-new Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric is priced at RM 288,888 on-the-road without insurance, which is just RM 10,000 more than the EV variant of the current generation XC40. It is offered in Fjord Blue, Black Stone, Silver Dawn, Crystal White, and Sage Green.
