And it is the ANC, and Mantashe in particular, that stood in the way of the roll-out of renewable energy and the licensing of independent power producers. Had government acted timeously to lessen the burden on Eskom, we would be in a very different space right now. The crisis would not be over, but it would be less severe.
Why haven't RSA citizens started looting these people's home? They have stolen so much for the poorest of people, whilst there family and friends continue to grow in wealth off the backs of their poor votes
