Shoprite is testing a Scania Battery Electric Vehicle that's 100% electric and equipped with rooftop solar panels.

The Scania BEV is a refrigerated truck that can hold approximately 16 pallets. It has nine batteries and rooftop solar panels, which also help power the cooling system.
