kangabella All well and good for a Government policy advisor to say electricity bill are “likely”(not definitely) to come down. But it’s not Government policy and they withheld major support from the alpsa Government who did great things just to run them out of office. It’s rubbish Auspol

FAKENEWS

How much baseload power does solar produce at 1130pm?

I call BS.

No shit...

I'll believe it when I see the pigs fly.

deplorablejam birockin get ready to bend over. Here it comes.

This government is run by people without a plan or conscience. By dick heads that are all fat cats that love sex food and power.

That is factually wrong plain hot snapping bullshit ABC

Who would have thought.... 😑

If something is new doesn’t it cost to establish in the first place typical abc peddling labor propaganda all the way

Finally! Someone got the memo.

Pressure mounting. Another report with a similar conclusion that large-scale RE will drive down wholesale electricity prices, NSW Libs splitting from feds on climate change/renewable energy... is the Federal LNP dam wall about to burst?

simonahac Hey AngusTaylorMP this must really burn you! Renewables will ultimately be cheaper and better for us all. Goes against your vested interest..corruption! Bring on a proper ICAC!

simonahac Never any comment from the usual Murdoch mouthpieces or coal industry reps, oops I mean LNP, about these stories. Evidence seems to silence them.

Just like it has in the last decade...

simonahac The big Q is how ro reduce profits being siphoned off, shareholder dividends...

This is a bit awkward ScottMorrisonMP & AngusTaylorMP . Renewables are happening you can be part of it or get mowed down by them. Pity you don’t understand. auspol LNPfail TheIPA thepmo simonahac

The AEMC just doesn’t get it (or do they). Base demand will exist long into the future. Any offset by renewables will be factored into current and future power prices. Nemo must be shitting himself stupid given the laughable logic in play.

FakeNews. The report only indicates significant price drops in SA, no mention of taxpayer subsidies keeping prices high. Wind & sun 'driving' prices down? Bullshit. It's a scam.

All well and good that power generation by renewables will drive down the cost of electricity production, but please, don’t claim that the end user will have lower bills. It is and always has been about profits, and the power companies are addicted to profits.

That cant be right I thought it was the toothpick (or bigstick) that .JoshFrydenberg and .ScottMorrisonMP Had threatened on power companies Now you are telling me it is becuase of renewables renewableenergy I dont know who to believe ? LNP or Market Experts

And the Tossers LiberalAus want to build coal fired Power Stations

Wishful thinking.. just look around .. everywhere where renewables were installed the prices rose.. its a scam

Tyranny of distance: The renewable power disconnectThe renewable energy boom may be going to waste because the best place to put wind and solar is too far away to connect to the grid. this is the same grid that supplies coal generated electricity, now? Exact same issues surely, irrespective of how the power is generated? What rubbish. Did anyone consider this earlier? The 'boom' is not going to waste. Taxpayers are still stumping up billions to left wing idealogues to line their pockets. Wind & solar power are a state-sponsored scam, working beautifully for the scammers.
