The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress , Omoyele Sowore, for the 2023 general elections has noted that Nigeria needs to focus on renewable energy to prepare for the future. “There are other wastes out there unaccounted for that can be used,” he added. He also noted that reliance on oil and gas is not sustainable as most economies are gradually moving away from oil, adding that electric cars and planes are not being made.

Sowore noted that too much exploitation of gas will have environmental implications for Nigeria. According to him, focusing on renewable energy sources like sunlight, water and biomass is the best option to have a Nigeria without oil. Speaking on education, the AAC candidate described education as integral to the development of the country, adding that it can also be effective in curbing insecurity.“We need education and I believe education can solve crimes, the right education because some people who are also involved in crime are educated.

Omo, this guy get ideas

Absolutely correct, but where's the zeal to promote it,implement it will still end on selfish purpose. A professor of MOUAU suggest this way 2 improve electricity low rate in Abia state approval from then 2014 govt was deny, So the people could perish. That's what one Nigeria is

He would be a good candidate for minister of power then!

Omoyele sowore won't cease to amaze 😂. Very garrulous in assumptions 😂. Lagos has yenyenyen to generate electricity for wherr? Wet perishables for generating electricity abi? Or maybe the Ojota waste mound is what make him thing such an idea is viable? Only fools fall for this

He knows and how far has he gone in the conversion of waste in his Lagos or is he demanding political power before he does the needful?

Nice

These are millenium ideas which you can never find with people like Tinubu , Atiku and Obi. It is our time to run the street. Leaders of tmw must start now. Take charge of your country Nigerian youths! soworemagashi2023

I prefer to vote for sowore than Peter obi, because at least some of his followers didn't insult me while some obedient did and called my tribes Fulani/Hausa terrorists

You're correct 💯😁💯💯💯💯💯💯

Miami international airport is powered by waste

AAC fund raiser 😂

U for say the whole Nigeria..Just making statements

It's the truth, we just have people who lack the knowledge or will rather use state fund to service their godfather than to make the life of the citizens better

Story

This young man appears more serious than PO. But emotions are high where PO, Tinubu and Atiku are involved. God save this country.

Nigeria in general not just south-west

They prefer we don't have light so as to drain the citizens of Nigeria with high price of fuel and gas etc.

😁😁😁
