Aiways has also equipped the U6 with a complex ambient lighting system that can create 360 different lighting moods.
Other interesting aspects of the car’s interior include partially concealed air vents up front and a gear selector in the center console inspired by the lever of a luxury yacht. Aiways has also equipped the U6 with unique seats with reinforced side and back bolsters. The infotainment system used by Aiways is dubbed AI-Tech and runs Android-based software to give it a familiar feel. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also supported.
“Aiways has grown tremendously in a short period of time and we are very pleased with the foundation we have laid in Europe,” vice president of Overseas Operations at Aiways, Dr. Alexander Klose said in a statement. “By the end of 2022, we are aiming for at least five-digit sales thanks to the growing popularity of the U5 SUV, as well as through the new U6 SUV-Coupé model.
