Dang, I can't even get my Jeep filled with petrol that quickly.

Force that much energy into a series of batteries that fast and you risk thermal runaway. (Tesla Model S pictured nearly bursting into flames on a supercharger) Fill a Hydrogen tank in 5 minutes and you drive for hundreds of miles. Stop romanticizing batteries!

I can refill my gas tank in 3 minutes.

This is how tech works, and I laugh at people who complain about charge times like they'll never get better. The 1st car was nothing like our cars today in regards to tech. Give elec cars 20 years and we'll question why anyone uses gas.
