Daithi O'Se says he owes Irish Times journalist Conor Pope a pint after he followed his advice and knocked hundreds off his energy bill.

Addressing the audience in the RTE studio, he asked them to raise their hands if they’re getting energy from the same supplier as last year. An estimated 60% did. “500,000 households have not switched, every single one of those households is wasting money. I’m not talking 50 quid, or 70 quid - they’re all wasting up to €1,000 a year.
