However, people can save over €230 each year on energy costs by changing one setting on their boilers at home.A recent report by the Heating and Hot Water Council in the UK discovered that homes could save between 6% to 8% on their gas bill by reducing the heating flow temperature on their condensing combi boiler.
The heating flow temperature is the temperature that your boiler will heat the water to before sending it to your radiators. The government is considering additional financial supports that would help people with the rising cost of living, including another €200 electricity grant and an added week of Fuel Allowance.
