China won’t sacrifice their economic power for western hysteria. They will sell us tech we won’t make ourselves, it’s dirty and hard. They are paying for it by burning FAR MORE coal and polluting the air far more than the US. They also develop little of their tech, they steal it.
China is steadily building nuclear power plants and will surpass France/US in terms of generation in the near future.

It’s a race the US can only lose. We can help China develop their technology when they steal what we, paid for by taxpayers, develop. And we, the left especially, won’t want to make the tech here because it is extremely environmentally unfriendly.

WTF? China's strategy is clean. They’ll own the solar and wind business while burning the worlds supply of coal.
And like things like lifting people out of poverty, infrastructure and education, China is going to take the USA to pound town. Oh and not to mention the inherent advantage of not sacrificing their citizens to covid.
This may happen in the USA because we're dumb enough to jack up our energy costs while China will just make everything and sell us the stuff to do so.
