NBA conference begins today, Obaseki to proffer solutions to Nigeria’s energy, revenue challenges | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World News ⬇️

Collection of conference materials by delegates will commence at 4:00 p.m. today and end Tuesday, August 23, at 6:00 p.m.

On Monday, Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, will share insights and proffer solutions to Nigeria’s energy and revenue challenges. The governor will, at the session, chart paths towards enhancing fiscal administration, increasing revenue and reducing wastes in government expenditure, and share insights on improving the nation’s energy sector and attaining sustainable power supply, using the state’s novel Ossiomo Power Project, a 95MW facility that now powers government offices and hospitals, as well as streetlights among others in the Benin metropolis.

“This year’s conference is anticipated to have not less than 13,000 delegates in attendance, including lawyers, magistrates and justices of all the superior courts of record in Nigeria, business men, entrepreneurs, technocrats and political leaders from within and outside Nigeria. Indeed, the conference is the largest gathering of business, political and thought leaders on the African continent.”
