If it proceeds, the investment would triple Senex’s annual output of about 20PJ of gas in 2021 to 60PJ, a spokesperson said. Senex’s current output is split roughly evenly between export and domestic, but “the vast majority of the additional production will be diverted” to local customers, they said. The company, which was taken over last December and delisted from the ASX in April, said the recent energy crisis in eastern Australia highlighted the need for more supply.

This major new gas project of Rinehart's is NOT needed for use in Australia. We already produce far in excess of what we need, with most of it being exported. It's a lie that it would be used here. The second the LNP got back in the rules would change and it's all exported.

I’m more for just seizing all of her wealth and using it to build federal owned renewable infrastructure considering when times get hard she forks off or comes out with suggestions to increase her wealth.

The mad fat old cow wants to kill us all for her gluttony.

Will be waved through by albo and pals given they reside in the pockets of mining billionnaires

Just went you didn’t think you could hate her any more.

....and I bet ordinary Australians won't see any benefit from it.

No one should go anywhere near her.

Just imagine if she put her wealth into renewables but fossil fuels are in her DNA

Doesn't she have enough?

Get ready for the punch line taxpayers

Santos takes 'important step' in getting Narrabri Gas Project off the groundThe energy giant has taken ownership of a company with approval for a pipeline which Santos needs to get its gas from Narrabri into the domestic market. A step backwards imo If the important step is shelving the project, then Santos would be doing the right thing. Otherwise they are just helping to ensure the destruction of the environment for future generations Good for NSW.👍
