Imagine how much more we would pay for electricity if we all had to have electric cars. Now imagine how much more we would have to pay if they placed a tax on the electricity usage for the cars. Or they’ll tax you for the mileage you use.: "The average household uses 1,870 kWh/year for air conditioning. If that average household plugged in electric cars…it would take FOUR TIMES as much electricity to charge the average household's cars as the average household uses on air conditioning.
