Around four in 10 people bought less food during the past two weeks due to the rising cost of living, according to a new survey

It is one of a handful of statistics in the ONS's latest social impacts survey showing growing concerns about thesurge facing households with higher energy bills and fuel prices adding to the headache.

Probably waking up to the fact we all buy too much and need to cut our cloth

It will soon be 10 out of 10.

Not sure why this is an issue ... approximately 40% of people are classed as obese. These numbers are not mutually exclusive, and the health and NHS benefits of cutting back on some food are to be welcomed.

Government solving the obesity crisis is by ignoring the cost of living crisis 💪 good forward thinking 😎

Obviously some is due to not enough money but I wonder if people are being more careful and looking to use current things at home rather than buying extras. My wife and I are meal planning more with what we have then buying where needed.
