"You, our customers, are going to get capabilities no other EV truck can ever offer, but for thousands of dollars less than our competitor's trucks. Whenever they actually go on sale," he said.
General Motors is also scheduled to begin selling a high-volume electric version of the Silverado pickup in 2023 but currently offers the luxury GMC Hummer EV pickup. Not sure how much is this a burn when Tesla is a 900 billion to 1 trillion dollar company and Ford is like 60 billion. Tesla can choose to acquire Ford for a fraction of its cap if it wants to. Not even close currently.
Better make use of the head start before the Cybertruck is released next year (hopefully). Problem is the charging infrastructure for non-Tesla vehicles leaves much to be desired.
