Hasn't anyone ever seen an F1 car? They have a yoke! And have you seen how easy it is to back a F1 car out of a parking space in a crowded lot? Or do a U-turn in city traffic? Or parallel park an F1 car? Well, I haven't but I'm sure it'd be fine.

What a yoke.. lol

As long as it's variable gain, 90 or 115 deg for full lock at parking speeds, it's fine. Enthusiasts think they don't like yokes, but drivers of electric crossovers will appreciate the benefits.

A crossover with a yoke? I guess it will be easy to figure out which people to avoid.

Lexus is likely doing it right with speed-based variable steering ratio. At lower speeds, you don't need to turn the yoke much for full steering lock. At higher speeds the steering sensitivity is reduced to increase stability and reduced twitchiness.

Hope it comes with a real steering wheel

No one likes yokes

I guess ToyotaMotorCorp doesn’t care about safety anymore

A yoke 🤢

A yoke in a street car without direct steering is idiotic. Don’t try to legitimize Tesla silliness.
