A lot of replies assume people need to do SOMETHING about the leaves. You can just do nothing. No leaf blower. No rake even. Leaves are good for soil and wildlife. Just let the outdoors be natural. Sit back and do nothing to do the right thing.
This is just stupid. Landscape and yard maintenance companies can’t switch to electric yard tools. They’d have to carry a ridiculous amount of batteries with them. Plus electric yard tools aren’t built for commercial use at this point. Give your head a shake.
I’ve never seen the value added to these things…. leaves or snow. Just create air and noise pollution. Great way to bother the neighborhood.

Well, put them on the trash heap & let them slowly break down over a period of hundreds (thousands?) of years and let’s bust out some lithium or nickel or cadmium based batteries in new metal and plastic tools that are surely much, much better for the environment then, I guess.
