An adjudicator’s ruling could make it difficult to get information about what’s going on inside Alberta’s government-funded oil and gas war room.

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, centre, addresses attendees at a press conference to announce the launch of the Canadian Energy Centre at SAIT in Calgary on Dec.

11, 2019, flanked Energy Minister Sonya Savage and Tom Olsen, managing director of the Canadian Energy Centre. Kenney has officially opened the province's energy war room to fight what he calls a campaign of lies about the province's energy industry.

Money counting. Money hats. Planning the money bin.

We all know

Kenny's buddies getting a free ride for doing nothing an embarrassment for Alberta

This might be an indirect back channel way of funneling UCP campaign ad's using tax dollars. Making it more opaque makes it more suspect.

He is a snake.

What's new about this . . . there has never been transparency with this govt.

We’ll that’s an undemocratic boondoggle. There’s no good faith reason to hide public money like this. So par for the UPC course

What about the Winnipeg Lab documents your Liberals have been hiding?

Something tells me the only thing going on in Jason’s War Room, is the printer going hard printing resumes.

This is absolute hypocrisy! What a joke. Time to put the decision making in the hands of someone that understands the implicant right we all have to a government that operates with an ethical outlook for society.

The government should be barred from using public money to create private institutions. That should be what Albertans ask the courts to decide.

Begs the question what does the war room have to hide ?

Public funds should be accountable to public scrutiny as a service provider or publicly funded institutions (unless there is legislation that protects information on laws such as the Privacy Act).
