There's likely to be a new emphasis on technology to suck CO2 from the air in IPCC report on mitigation.

This new study will be the third of three important reports from the IPCC issued over the past eight months. The previous two have looked at the causes and impacts of climate change, but this one will focus on mitigation - or what we can do to stop it.

"We have a lot more material, this time on carbon dioxide removal. That is, not putting carbon into the atmosphere, but getting it out again," said Prof Jim Skea, from Imperial College, London. The use of these types of technology is controversial. Campaigners express doubts that they can be made to work economically and there are also concerns that technology could be seen as an excuse not to make the major changes in energy production that are needed.

"We have been running some informal meetings with governments to brief them ahead of the actual approval session," said Prof Skea. The new report, part of a regular review of the science dating back to 1990, will also have a new focus on the social aspects of cutting carbon.

Sounds like IPCC has now understood where the biggest hardheads are - in industries directly or indirectly involved with fossil fuel. But including those individuals who believe whatever bullshit they are reading if they just don't have to change anything...

Are you guys LowIQ or just paid Propagandists 😛😂 Any student of Climate History knows that Man Made GlobalWarming / ClimateChange is a Socialist Scam ! mondaythoughts -- They Lie to us simply to control us.

and why do they put that air turbine? just the manufacture of the blades it's way more CO2 intensive than driving a normal v8 SUV, not to mention it must be done in an industrial scale, do you guys even do your research work?
