I like buying cars made in America.
But how will we know VW cars are doing what they say there are, unless there is some independently verifiable testing done. Since VW's diesel situation, I have less confidence the VW will put the environment's interests, and those of its clients, above its own profit margin.
We need to be 100% electric in 10 years. Climate change is almost irreversible now. Plus many oil rich nations (Russia, Saudi Arabia,Iraq,Iran) do not have our best interest at heart.
They sold 11 millions last year (not counting the ones they had to take back...) Maybe they want to sell them again, as electric...
They should stop telling 'capable' and start making them. Bear in mind that making is not enough, they have to actually SELL them.
Don’t buy them. Only need to look to their record on diesel vehicles to understand this. Won’t purchase another VW again in my lifetime. Signed a very disgruntled UK owner.
