President Biden ordered the release of 50 million barrels of oil from the nation's petroleum reserves in a bid to tamp down high fuel costs

Gas prices over $5 per gallon are displayed at a Shell station on Nov. 17 in Hercules, Calif.

"As we come out of an unprecedented global economic shutdown, oil supply has not kept up with demand, forcing working families and businesses to pay the price,” Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said in a press release. “This action underscores the President’s commitment to using the tools available to bring down costs for working families and to continue our economic recovery.”

US consumes 18m barrels daily soooo 50m equates to about 3 days worth of petro. That’s like going to a Thanksgiving dinner with one dinner roll.

A wiser course of action would be to lift the cap on production and open the pipelines...sorta like being energy independent like last year. if you want the price of a barrel of $ 25, you need to extract an additional 12 million barrels per day.

Ethiopia is the country that never colonized now she is fighting a neo colonialism war from which america is supporting terrorist group in Ethiopia 🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹say nomore TPLFTerroristGroup

Temporary action by POTUS to improve his poll numbers. A wiser course of action would be to lift the cap on production and open the pipelines...sorta like being energy independent like last year, but, I digress. The president is screwing the pooch on this and every other issue.

But... There's nothing the president can do about the gas prices...?

So who will benefit from this, we the consumer or the oil refineries who manipulate prices.

The SPR isn’t to manipulate prices like presidents like to use it for

I paid 3.11 in South Florida today, I can't help but feel the media is manipulating us again.
