The Morrison government are the worst economic managers in our nation’s history

And the money is coming from.........? Is that NDIS money.....is it bushfire money....? Is it flooding money Is it Astra-Zeneca money

Anything left for struggling families & pensioners? Not likely👎👎👎

Heard it all before yet another announcement 🥱

Just wait for carbon tax from EU and US

Why not spend $1bn on batteries so we can keep supplying the grid with our solar panels? Oh that's right, it doesn't make your mates massive profits. Just keep switching off our panels during peak times, she'll be right mate.

Do something to international students stuck !! LetUsBackAus

Bring on the gas! Gas is brilliant and it’s so good for us?

pretty sure he did this a few weeks ago didn't he

It went as well as Scotty from marketing could have hoped

Why does this feel like a deal between Charles ii and his executioner? Morrison wouldn't know a 'good deal' if it bloody slapped him!

'South Australia's Minister for Energy and Mining, Dan van Holst Pellekaan, said the 'historic' commitment would contribute to the state achieving net 100 per cent renewables by 2030' Which presumably should equal zero emissions?

Don’t encourage him

Ah, a Liberal state, not the brightest people.

So where are the Green jobs that are awaiting to be introduced? Who's willing to invest on them? If Adam Bandt and The Greens can't say or won't say, then keep quiet. Job's matter to those that will have to retrain on the new touted green jobs that will be available.

That's because it's a Liberal State Government, nothing to do with equity, I hope he turns the lights out when he departs because nothing happens here.

HazySurvivor South Australia needs pumped hydro storage. Batteries are not enough. Power imports were around 400 MW x 24 h = 9,600 MWh per day for the last 4 days. ScottMorrisonMP AngusTaylorMP marshall_steven Where is the analysis and where are the plans? Interconnector yes

Hasn't SA gone nearly solar/battery?

Do we really need it? Or are we doing alright without it?

Money down the 🚽when SA won't even need to burn gas while renewables cater for 100% of day's use or is exported to Victoria

Better off to support the steel works and battery storage.

Good luck

Gee for that money you could buy 1GWh of battery storage filled with almost free renewable energy. The LNP keeping with their ideology and supporting their fossil fuels mates.

We should expect the good folks of SA to get huge reduction in their energy bills then right? Or is it just about undercutting renewables with taxpayer money?

What a shockingly low grade PM ..he will retire very nicely but relegate Aus to pariah CO2 of the world. In long term we will end up with as much gas generated Co2 as coal thru growing consumers demands

If it's not batteries, no one cares BuyATeslaBuyATesla

Half an inter-connector would buy a lot of community batteries and negate the need for one as well as the need to turn off solar. saparli auspol energy solar

These fellas luv their fossil fuels

Well done Scott and south Australia its a shame we can’t have this in Vic but we are spending billions on a battery yes 10s of billions so we can power the state for about 1 hour only thing standing in the way of this is how do we charge it

Needs more nuclear power.

Voted out I would think. Hospitals shocking

well not many liberal states Left!! lmao

South Australia is leading the way in renewable energy! We do not need more CO2-emitting gas, and it will never be as cheap as it is overseas. Natural gas is not going to be an Aussie export. This is not about public good. Invest in renewables + hydrogen. Not natural gas.

scottyfromarketing

Yawn.. using more fossil fuels does not make clean energy

Another announcement, doesn’t seem different.

ScottyTheAnnouncer

More gas = more emissions. On the day that China and USA complete a deal to develop cleaner energy and bring down emissions, Scott Morrison does the opposite and locks in another state to a dirty polluting deal to keep his fossil fuel party donors happy. Absolutely disgusting.

Keep in mind the last 'deal' he announced

So still avoiding renewables and flogging that old nag.

This is not climateaction!
