TORONTO -- A new case study describes a rare case of severe heart failure in a 21-year-old man after he drank multiple energy drinks daily for two years — revealing the potential dangers of excessive consumption of these beverages.on Thursday, explains the unusual case of a U.K. man who was first admitted to hospital with shortness of breath and a swelling in the abdomen.
In a statement provided with the case study, the patient, who is not identified by name, wrote that when he was not consuming these energy drinks, he would suffer “from severe migraine headaches.” According to the case study, the situation was dire, and he was taken to the ICU of another hospital to receive more specialized care.
He is now avoiding energy drinks, the case report stated, something doctors believe is contributing to his improved heart function.
What is wrong with people? it says on these energy drinks 1 can per day, so it is the person's own fault for drinking more than the recommendation(I know of a couple that drank too many in a day, and 1 said he felt like he was having a heart attack.) Read the labels ppl.🙄
Energy drinks usually have like 150 mg of Caffiene (strong cup of coffee), over 50 grams of sugar a can, plus other energy boosting chemicals. 600mg of caffiene is like 6 cups of coffee, plus 200 grams of sugar, and a bunch of other shit in it. they have some vitamins too

I remember reading doctorrhonda in a tweet of hers saying there is no concern with consuming energy drinks. I think she also said the same about masks and covid being airborne.
I knew a guy at the bar who used to drink ten beers a night then he quit alcohol and drank ten Red Bulls instead, about a month later he had a heart attack, after that it was just a couple of light beers. He's still alive.
