“Countries are continuing to build new wind turbines and solar plants, but at a much slower pace,” IEA executive director Fatih Birol said. Renewable capacity additions this year are set to total 167 gigawatts , 13% less than last year, according to the IEA’s Renewable Market Update report.Slower growth this year reflects delays in construction activity due to supply chain disruptions, lockdown measures and social distancing as well as financing challenges.

I can't understand this, so the environment is in better condition, the earth hasn't been in better shape in natural resources in ages as is now during the pandemic restrictions, but yet the production of green energy is crushing... Please advise?
