Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil has unveiled its locally constructed infrared temperature monitor and automated sanitizer to curtail the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

Unveiling the new technology at a press briefing on Monday, Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Shehu Alhaji Musa said the innovation was part of the contribution by the university to complement government efforts in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic. Already, he said three institutes of the university with 940 total bed space were recently donated as isolation.

....good one but why cant proper funding and appropriation be directed towards creatively industrializing the country rather than this sort of reactive engagement - methinks it would pay the jobless masses of the nation far better.
