Queen of being arrested at climate change protests.

She says it's actually the last piece of clothing she will ever buy.the Hollywood Reporter she wanted her protest attire to be something red, so she bought a $500 coat on sale at Nieman Marcus. She says it's the last thing she'll ever buy:

"The team and I decided at the very beginning that we should all try to wear something red. I racked my brain — I didn't have anything red. I don't usually wear red. So I decided that the last article of clothing that I will ever buy is a red coat. Sure enough, I found one at Neiman Marcus on sales for $500. And that's the coat. I'm speaking out against consumerism and so I have to walk the talk. And so that's the last thing I'll buy.

She looks amazing!!

Old dress, new face?

Thankfully she didn't recycle her Barbarella outfit.

I get that the dress is stunning and she wore it once before and all, but like, I'm right here. And she's worn me and GOTTEN ARRESTED PROTESTING CLIMATE CHANGE five times I just want what all coats want, which is to be seen ❤️️

'Sustainable lifestyle' known to most us peasants as 'broke' (aka the all-purpose funeral/wedding/court outfit) lol😁

so what, who says you need to wear a new dress for every occasion. People buy lots of clothes they wear once or don't wear at all and then throw it away causing land pollution.

And....?

you.

Maybe she has enough clothes to last a lifetime? We all need to buy clothes at some point. They get holes and stains. I guess being broke helps the environment. 🙂

She look so good out. On the dressing stay not A year a .

The most environmentally responsible action Hollywood elites could do is to cancel the Oscars.

And that bitch is like 102 so she had spent decades of buying clothes. Nice.

Troubling is that wearing an extremely expensive dress more than once is noticed & newsworthy.

Good for her. Conspicuous, unrestrained consumption is not something to be admired or primoted.k

A fucking queen!!

I have a $20 band shirt I bought at a gig 15 years ago that I still wear around the house. I'm practically Jane Fonda.

This is actually kind of cool, and taking action on beliefs. Most from Hollywood cry about climate change ,while taking jets globally, and driving high performance 12 cylinders sports cars.

Good for her. The waste of celebrities/the wealthy astounds me. I buy most of my clothing secondhand. Saves me ridiculous amounts of money, and you’d be shocked at the treasures—sometimes brand new—you can find at your local GoodwillIntl.

But she will get into her limousine and fly in her private jet! 👌

How old is she? 112? She shouldn’t care anymore.

It only took her 82 years..🤣🤣🤣🤣

All of my clothes are resale, and, I wear them more than twice. Saving the planet in my own little way.

I love her

Until the summary at the end I couldn’t tell if this was a read or a congratulations.

Stunning and brave

Good! She’s living the sustainable lifestyle.

I'm so impressed! I can't fit in any of my dresses from 6 years ago.

So the point of this piece was to drag Jane Fonda?

This wouldn’t even be an article if the fashion and entertainment industry didn’t deem wearing an outfit more than once as a bad thing.

Or maybe she doesn't give a shit and just wears whatever she wants. I like that headline better.

Who cares about her dress, her plastic surgeon deserves an Academy award she looks fabulous.
