, the launch also marked the debut of the Schneider EVlink Pro DC chargers in Malaysia.Some EV owners out there may remember that Schneider has previously launched its first EV charging station at Genting Premium Outlets Over at Plaza 33, the new hub’s main attraction is the new 180kW EVlink Pro DC which is equipped with two nozzles and has been set to deliver dynamic charging capability. The location also features EVlink Smart Wallbox AC chargers on two bays.
However, we were told that contactless payments using credit and debit cards will only be supported soon as the hub’s Singapore-based payment solution provider still ironing out the kinks. Of course, users can also use the JusEV mobile app to activate these chargers. Before you rush in to charge your EV at the new hub, it is not yet open to the public at the moment. Meanwhile, Schneider Electric and JusEV have said that they are committed to installing over 100 chargers throughout the country by the end of this year. 10% of these chargers will be DC fast chargers. Jason also said that JusEV is looking to establish around 20 to 30 EV charging hubs with the focus being in Selangor and Johor. He also didn’t discount the possibility of establishing charging hubs on highways but admitted that the right conditions are needed to make that happen.
