‘Nothing more than gossip’: Nationals leader denies internal tensions over nuclear

David Littleproud has taken aim at anonymous reports of tension between the Liberals and Nationals over the sites of six proposed nuclear energy facilities.

In an article published on Monday morning, Nationals MPs alleged to the Sydney Morning Herald Mr Littleproud told the most recent party room meeting he would not allow the Liberals to determine where the nuclear facilities would be put. “The reality is this is a structured process, we’ve been very clear, Peter Dutton and myself, about where our proposed nuclear power plants will go,” Mr Littleproud said.

Clennell continued to criticise the lack of unity within the Coalition on nuclear as the budget looms.
