MESA, Ariz. — A destructive residential fire reported in Mesa on Wednesday may have been caused by an electric scooter, A scooter located in the living room of a home near Country Club Drive and Brown Road reportedly caught fire, which rapidly spread but was contained to a single unit. No injuries were reported and all occupants managed to exit the unit, the fire department said.“The Valley” is what locals call the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.
