PETALING JAYA: Samaiden Group Berhad, a renewable energy specialist principally involved in engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems and power plants, today posted a remarkable revenue of RM75 million, representing a significant 68.3% increase for the third quarter ended March 31, 2024 from RM44.6 million in the corresponding quarter last year .Profit before taxation for Q3 FY2024 rose to RM5.6 million, compared to RM2.
The year-to-date revenue, it said is nearly equivalent to the entire FY2023 revenue of RM170.8 million. The PBT represents a 45.1% rise, outpacing the revenue increase and suggesting improved profit margins and operational efficiency. Group managing director Chow Pui Hee remarked, “Achieving RM75 million in revenue for Q3 FY2024 underscores our effective strategies and the robust demand in Malaysia’s RE sector. The government’s initiatives, such as the Corporate Green Power Programme , the launch of the fifth large-scale solar programme, and the Green Electricity Tariff programme, significantly bolster our growth prospects.
