The firm that came bottom of the ranking saw its average call waiting time jump from just under a minute to over five minutes in less than a year.

Energy providers do not come out well from this latest customer service ranking. EDF, Utilita and British Gas got the worst reviews from customers in Q1 2024EDF has been named as the worst energy firm for customer service by consumer charity Citizens Advice.But no energy firm came off well in the Citizens Advice rankings, with only one getting a score of more than 3.3 stars out of 5.
