Google subsidiary Waymo for autonomous taxis and deliveries on June 12 said that it would update the software of its entire fleet after one of its unoccupied driverless vehicles crashed into a telephone post in May.

BUTTERWORTH: The Energy Transition and Public Water Transformation Ministry said it will fully support the realisation of the Perak-Penang water deal.

"We will work with them to make sure it goes on as planned," said its deputy minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir, after he attended the Mydin and Ray Go Solar - Green Energy Launch and Handover Ceremony at Mydin Bertam in Butterworth on Thursday . Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, who was also at the event, said the project should begin as soon as possible as it will take five to six years to complete."We have eight projects under the Penang Water Contingency Plan 2030," he said.

In May it was reported that the Perak government had agreed to supply water to Penang through the Kerian Integrated Green Industrial Park to Seberang Perai.
