The forum, hosted by the government of Barbados and attended by over 1,000 participants, including UN officials, government representatives and industry leaders, addresses the compounded effects of climate change, geopolitical tensions and the Covid-19 pandemic on global supply chains.Efforts to decarbonize global shipping are emphasized, focusing on developing countries with renewable energy resources.
