Did you know that this week is National BBQ Week? I actually do know this fun fact because I plan on celebrating big time. I have a love of BBQ food, but the dilemma I also have is that I haven't really been able to master the art of barbequing myself. Growing up, my dad and my brother were always the first to have the tongs in hand, and I was always happy behind the scenes making the potato salad.
The Ninja Woodfire Electric BBQ Grill tech The top line of the product is it's an easy-to-use outdoor grill that needs no charcoal or gas and produces no flames. You can use it as an air fryer or as a BBQ-like grill to create authentic seared meats and veg. In fact, it has seven functions that allow you to grill, smoke, air fry, roast, bake and reheat.
It's ideal for anyone wanting to do more outdoor cooking but it's specifically great for those who have balconies or patios instead of large gardens, as the relatively compact size of the machine means it can fit in spaces not big enough for a proper BBQ. Since it uses no gas, it's also fine for use in more enclosed spaces.
So far I've loved grilling chicken on it the most – the grill setting gives an authentic flavour – but I've also tested its air fryer functions and it's so good that I've given away my standalone air fryer to a friend. I tested the smoker on steak and though it was a mild flavour, it definitely enhanced the eating experience.
