It was a glamorous weekend for participants in the maiden Mechanic Champions League as the sponsors of the competition, Hyde Energy, treated them to a festival of food, drinks and music in Lagos.

Ex-Super Eagles striker, Victor Ikpeba ; Agege Radiators Captain, Segun Soyomi ; Kosofe Camshafts Captain,AliyuIbrahim; Chief Executive, Hyde Energy, Dimeji Edwards; Ojota Injectors Captain, Kelechi Onele; and Chairman, Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association , Lagos State, Comrade Moruf Egberongbe, at the Mechanic Champions League award ceremony… at the weekend.

The Hyde Cup, held over six weeks, was an exciting platform to celebrate the talent and dedication of mechanics in the automobile industry. Speaking at the prize giving ceremony, Hyde Energy’s CEO, Dimeji Edwards, said: “This has been an exciting six weeks for us, a journey filled with the undeniable talent of the mechanics.
