More Glasgow homes are set to become warmer following a £6.8 million boost.

The Scottish Government grant funding is to be awarded to the city to help home owners and tenants renting privately who are at risk of fuel poverty.

The aim is to improve the energy performance of homes towards achieving an EPC rating of C or better and to reduce “energy usage and fuel costs” according to aAreas where properties are targeted include those which are most deprived, homes in council tax band A to C, those in mixed tenure blocks among social housing.
