In this instalment of John Murdoch's Drive Time, Johngets behind the wheel of the all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E and looks at changes being made to the very popular Skoda Octavia range.
I have been sampling the Mach-E Premium RWD model that has a price tag of £59,380 and £63,030 when you get it with attractive Vapour Blue paint and a Tech Pack that adds a hands free tailgate, a B&O premium sound system with 10 speakers and a dash sound bar. It features a long bonnet, the iconic Pony badging, signature lighting, push button doors, privacy glass, a unique front grille design, unique bumpers, and 19-inch black machined alloy wheels with Brembo brakes and red calipers.
It offers access to the Ford SYNC technology with navigation, voice recognition and a number of other services. The steering is well weighted and provides good feedback while the all-round visibility is also good. The Mach-E also boasts a wealth of safety kit as standard and it scored a maximum five stars when tested for its Euro NCAP rating.
