The United Kingdom has just unveiled its latest drone-killing directed energy weapon called the Radio Frequency Directed Energy Weapon.

The United Kingdom Government has announced the development of a new drone killer, a directed energy weapon, which can knock out multiple targets at once.

RFDEW forms part of the nation’s “war footing” following Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s commitment to increase defense spending to 2.5% of GDP by 2030. At only 10p per shot fired, the RFDEW beam is a significant cost-effective alternative to traditional missile-based air defense systems. It should also be capable of downing dangerous drone swarms nearly instantaneously.
